A rebirth of sorts

I've happily found that I can blog via phone, and shall proceed to do so. Not quite sure why it took me so long to add 1 and 1 to do this...but I'm going to start work on updating this daily, and on Saturdays I plan on producing a YouTube video alongside this.

Today

I got pulled over for doing 65 in a 40 zone. That's bad. I also forgot all my paperwork on my desk, and am still using a licence that expired in '05. THEN after I got pulled over I shot a small monkey. Was a bad move. Any clue what assault charges against exotic animals is? So the guy wrote me up for going 19 over so I could go to traffic school and as this is going on, my phone rings and it's my sister, whose car this recently was, and who just happened to be an officer on duty in that area, hearing her former licence plate # read over the radio. "Hello?" "Where are you right now?!"...Well, as luck would have it my sis is cool, and I told her what I'd done, and that I was in the wrong, and she's like "Okay, call me afterwards." I called her, she somehow audibly shook her head, and then shows up at my work like 30 minutes later, "Rodney, you've got a police officer here to see you?", and lets me know she talked to the guy and I got a warning ticket. A WARNING TICKET for going 25 over? No frickin, AWESOME! Now, I just gotta make sure my insurance is still good, renew my registration before it expires, apparently I should carry a current licence, and I'm gonna be my sisters indentured servant babysitter for a bit. Oh well, they're good kids. And the officer says monkeys make a good stew, so I didn't have to worry about that.

Epic moment

And I didn't write it until now :P w/e lol Anyhow, I got a job after 4 days from start to finish lol If I've got nothing else, at least I have charisma. Well, I'll be doing clothing sales for Polo Ralph Lauren. Wee-la. And tomorrow, hopefully some good club pics. I'm getting out of this city!

Home and ENERGETIC

Wow, so after 2 weeks of heavy work, and exercising every day, I'm AMAZED at how far I had slid. But now, I'm working on a restart and hit the ground running. Apparently while I was gone, some cleaning had been forgotten, so I just woke up and started taking care of it. Should be done in an hour, and then off to see what everybody's up to. Oh, and THIS song...MAAAN! :D

The point in being nice

It's gotta be circular logic, cuz there's not always a reward, and people that say there's the reward of feeling that you did something right are past where I am. Sometimes I'm just moved to be nice, and I feel like I may as well not have done it, but then I go and do it again. Maybe I'm a creature of habit, maybe I'm stuck with compassion, and hope for the human race. But either way, for me, the point thus far is the action, and the hope that it wasn't in vain.

Ups and Downs

You know, sometimes all it takes is a song to cheer me up. And this band...almost anything by them picks me up. Oddly, sometimes I don't take the small step just to listen, and prefer to wallow in the downs.

Missed a day!

Well, at least I'm not accountable to anybody for doing this daily lol Yesterday was exhaustive, a lot of exercises for my reserve unit, and a buncha sitting around. Combine that with the day before, and the shift in my sleep pattern, I ended up crashing around 8pm, then waking up at 6 this morning to drive my dad to work. I guess the great news would be that my parents are getting along again, for now. I dunno if they'll ever get back to the way they used to be...but I guess it's not my life. So odd watching it happen tho. I mean, they love eachother, but their trust level is so low...
